The 1851 UK census lists Charles as 18yrs, living in Terrington St Clement Cambridgeshire at the home of master blacksmith Robert & Sarah Wharfe. Listed in Blacksmiths Of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

The 1851 UK census lists John as 39yrs, living in Westgate Street, Downham, Norfolk with wife Rebecca 44yrs (born Ely, Cambridgeshire). Children: William 14yrs (blacksmith), Eleanor 11yrs, John 8yrs, Grace 6yrs, Catherine 4yrs, Hammond 2yrs. Listed in Blacksmiths Cambridge and Norfolk.

BRADLEY Joel Blacksmith 1818 Joel Bradley, blacksmith. Born about 1818 in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1851 UK census lists Joel as 33yrs, living in Marsh,Wisbech with wife Maria 33yrs (born Leverington, Cambridgeshire).    
CAMPION Charles Blacksmith 1800 Charles Campion, blacksmith. Born about 1800-1801, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1841 UK census lists Charles as 40yrs, living in Wind Mill Street Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire with wife Mary 45yrs (born Cambridgeshire). Children: Jemima Laxton 19yrs; Charles Christmas Campion 18yrs (blacksmith); Louisa Campion 17yrs; George Campion 10yrs. Various members of the Laxton family also listed. . COLE John Blacksmith 1835 John Cole, blacksmith. Born about 1835 in Witchford, Cambridgeshire, England. Married Ellen Brand in Ely June qtr 1855. He had blacksmith premises in Ely and died post 1891C. There is a connection with Charles Joselyn who was licensee of the Peacock Inn in Ely. More information sought.

The 1851 UK census lists John as 24yrs, unmarried, lodging in the house of William & Elizabeth Foster, Clenchwarton, Cambridgeshire, England. Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.    
FARRANT John Blacksmith 1799 John Farrant was born in 1799 in Ely. He is shown as a blacksmith in Littleport Cambridgeshire on the 1841 to 1871 census. In 1881 he is in Rotherhithe Surrey, also listed as a blacksmith. John is my Great Great Grandfather.  
FULLER Robert Blacksmith 1804 Robert Fuller, blacksmith. Born about 1804 in Little Grendon, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1851 UK census lists Robert as 47yrs, living in Holkham Lane, Norwich, Norfolk with wife Ann 44yrs (born Little Snoring, Norfolk). Lodger: Samuel Beeton 34yrs (blacksmith). Robert is listed in Blacksmith of Cambridge and Norfolk).    
GOOD William Blacksmith 1819 William Good, blacksmith. Born about 1819 in Whittlesea, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1851 UK census lists as 32yrs and his wife Mary 33yrs (born Hilgay, Norfolk), visiting blacksmith Robert & Catherine Riches & family in Extons Road, Kings Lynn, Norfolk . William is listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridge and Norfolk.    
HARBOUR Thomas Blacksmith 1830 Thomas Harbour, blacksmith apprentice. Born about 1830 in Tidd St Giles, Lincolnshire, England. The 1851 UK census lists Thomas as 20yrs, apprenticed to master blacksmith Joseph Rillett (b0rn 1814) and his family in West Walton, Cambridgeshire. Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.    
LEE Edward Blacksmith 1808 Edward Lee, blacksmith. Born about 1808 in Wainfleet All Saints, Lincolnshire. The 1851 UK census lists Edward as 43yrs, unmarried, lodging at Clenchwarton, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech with Baines Pratt 31yrs (beer seller). Others listed: Edward Horspole 24yrs, married (ag. Labourer, brother-in-law of Baines Pratt); lodger William Hastilow 24yrs, unmarried (excavator); Lodger George Holmes 23yrs, unmarried (excavator). Edward is listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.    
MASON Frederick Blacksmith 1884 Frederick Mason, general blacksmith and shoeing smith. Born on 30th March 1884 to William and Kezia Mason in the village of Cherry Hinton in the Cambridge 1901 Census he was listed as a Blacksmith's labourer. Frederick married Elizabeth Turner in 1908 and in the 1911 Census he was listed as living in 153 Stanley Road Cambridge and he was a Shoeing and general Blacksmith. He is my paternal grandfather.  
POOLEY (POOLIE) Willie Blacksmith 1812 Willie Poolie, blacksmith. Born about 1812,Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire,England. The 1851 UK census lists him as 39yrs, working for and lodging with master blacksmith Charles Walker and his family; at Cossington Village, Leicestershire. Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Leicester.    
RANSOM John Equal Blacksmith 1823 John Equal Ransom, blacksmith. Born 1823 and died 1901 in Cambridgeshire, England. John was my great-great grandfather . Seen on the 1851-91 UK census as blacksmith or shoeing smith. Married Emma Carsbolt in1845.  
RIGNALL George Blacksmith 1879 George Rignall, blacksmith. Born 1879 in Warboys, Huntingdonshire, England. The 1901 UK census lists George as living in Mill Lane, Warboys and on the 1911 census he is living High Street, Warboys. Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.  
RIGNALL James Blacksmith 1805 James Rignall, blacksmith. Born 1805 in Warboys, Huntingdonshire. Father to blacksmiths William Rignall and grandfather to George Rignall. 1841 census living in West Lane, Warboyrs, In 1851 James is living in High Street, Warboys, 1861 and 1871 census living in Church Lane, Warboys. Died 1891 Warboys. Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.  
RIGNALL William Blacksmith 1854 William Rignall, blacksmith. Born 1854 in Warboys, Huntingdonshire, England. Father of blacksmith George Rignall. The 1881 UK census lists William as living in High Street, Warboys. In 1891 living in Mill End, Warboys. 1901 census living in Mill End, Warboys. Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.  
RILLETT (RYLATT) Joseph Blacksmith 1814 Joseph Rillett (Rylatt), blacksmith master, employs 1 man. Born about 1814 in Leake, Lincolnshire, England. The 1851 UK census lists Joseph as 37yrs, living in West Walton, Cambridgeshire with wife Mary 30yrs (born Walsoken, Norfolk). And son Henry 3yrs. Apprentice blacksmith, Thomas Harbour 20yrs, unmarried (born Tidd St Giles, Lincolnshire). Listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.    
ROBINSON Stephen Blacksmith 1821 Stephen Robinson, Blacksmith. Born 6th March 1821 in Thorney, Cambridgeshire, England. Parents: John Robinson and Elizabeth nee Wilson. He married Sarah Chapman ( born 1823 in Geddington, Kettering, Northamptonshire). Sarah was the daughter of John Chapman and Elizabeth nee Hipwell. Stephen & Sarah Robinson immigrated to South Australia on 23rd March 1848 from Plymouth, England aboard the "David Malcolm". Stephen was employed as a Constable on the voyage and received a sum of two pounds. They had 13 children (2 born in the UK and 11 born in South Australia). One son John died on the journey to South Australia while another son James who was also aboard survived. Stephen Robinson, died on 31st March 1879 at Macclesfield, South Australia at the age of 58yrs and was buried in the Anglican Cemetery at Macclesfield, South Australia. Stephen is listed in Blacksmiths of Australia & Blacksmiths of Cambridgeshire. See Blacksmiths of Australia for details another son, William Robinson.  
ROWE Joseph Blacksmith 1813 Joseph Row, blacksmith. Born about 1813 in Upwell, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1841 UK census lists Joseph as 38yrs, living in Fen End, Wisbeach, Norfolk with wife Esther 24yrs (born Tilney, Norfolk). Apprentice blacksmith Robert. B. Craft (born 1833) is lodging with them. Joseph is listed in Blacksmiths of Cambridge and Norfolk.    
SWINDLE George Blacksmith 1840 George Swindle blacksmith journeyman. Born about 1840 in Emneth, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1851 UK census lists George as 11yrs, living in Emneth, Cambridgeshire with his parents Robert 45yrs and Mary 52yrs. Siblings: James 21yrs; Elizabeth 13yrs and Robert 10yrs. In 1861 George is 21yrs, living in Emneth, Cambridgeshire with his father Robert Swindle 57yrs (born 1806 blacksmith) and his sister Mary Ann Swindle 25yrs. The 1851 UK census lists James as 21yrs, living in Emneth, Cambridgeshire with his parents Robert 45yrs and Mary 52yrs. Siblings: Elizabeth 13yrs and George 11yrs (blacksmith) and Robert 10yrs. SWINDLE Mary Blacksmith 1800 Mary Swindle, blacksmith. Born about 1800 in Elm, Cambridgeshire, England. The 1841 UK census lists Mary as 40yrs, husband Robert 35yrs (born 1806 blacksmith master). Children: James 11yrs; Sarah 10yrs; Mary ?age; Elizabeth 5yrs; George 2yrs; Robert 5mths infant. Blacksmith journeyman Thomas ?Limes 19yrs (unclear). In 1851 Mary is 52yrs, Robert 45yrs, living in Emneth. Children: James 21yrs (blacksmith); Elizabeth 13yrs; George 11yrs; Robert 10yrs. Mary died prior to the 1861 census. The 1841 UK census lists Robert as 35yrs, wife Mary 40yrs also a blacksmith (born Elm-Cambridgeshire). Children: James 11yrs; Sarah 10yrs; Mary ?age; Elizabeth 5yrs; George 2yrs; Robert 5mths infant. Blacksmith Journeyman Thomas ?Limes 19yrs (unclear). In 1851 Robert is 45yrs, living in Emneth, Cambridgeshire with wife Mary 52yrs also a blacksmith (born Elm-Cambridgeshire). Children: James 21yrs; Elizabeth 13yrs; George 11yrs and Robert 10yrs. In 1861 Robert is 57yrs, a widower, living in Emneth, Cambridgeshire with daughter Mary Ann Swindle 25yrs and son George Swindle 21yrs (born 1840 blacksmith). Lodging with them is blacksmith journeyman Charles Aldridge 18yrs. Listed in Blacksmiths Of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
