HOLLIOAKE Abraham (Snr) File Maker 1794 Abraham Hollioake (Snr), was shown as a file maker on the baptisms of his children from 1818-1831 and on the 1841 census He lived in Meriden Street Birmingham.  
HOLLIOAKE Abraham (Jnr) File Cutter 1818 Abraham Hollioake (Jnr), born 1818 (son of Abraham 1794) was a file Cutter on his marriage in 1840 and on the 1841 census and as File maker on his children's baptisms 1841-1857 and on the 1851 & 1861 censuses then back as a file cutter in 1871 &1881. He lived in Meriden Street Birmingham until 1871 when he appears in Mosely Street, Aston.

Children: Sarah 13yrs; Thomas 5yrs; Joseph 2yrs; Mother-in-law Julia Smith 82yrs. The 1881 census has Thomas as 51yrs, living at 58 Wood Street, Henney 44yrs. Children: Thomas 15yrs; Joseph 12yrs and Henney 7yrs. Seen also in 1991 census. Thomasís wife Henny nee Smith was daughter of Joseph Smith the locksmith.

YARDLEY George Bolt maker 1857 George Yardley, born 17 Feb 1857 at Willenhall Street, Darlaston, Staffordshire. 1881: lived at 24 Factory Street, Darlaston, Stafford. Worked: for coach bolt manufacturer in Stafford as tap and die maker. About 1897 moved family to Rutherglen, outside Glasgow, Scotland, to be the manager of a bolt works.
